Hello and welcome to the world of Splashy-Dashy Art!
My name is Rebecca, an Irish visual artist sharing my love of life, colour, travel and the beauty of nature with you.
I call my style “Splashy-Dashy” as I like my paintings to have movement and energy which is often achieved by adding myriads of multicoloured dots and flecks of gold.
My main colour palette, in contrast, remains generally muted and calm.
Hopefully, my paintings reflect who I am, a positive, bubbly person who aspires to bring joy and calm to your surroundings.
I particularly enjoy painting flowers in the medium of watercolour as the flow of the paint captures the ever-changing nature of petals and leaves.
My inspiration largely comes from foreign travel and visits to parks and botanic gardens.
